Happy 2nd Birthday Sian Blogs!
GO SIAN BLOGS. It's your birthday. We gonna party like its your birthday.
It feels like an understatement to say that so much can change in a year, but rather than reflecting on the year just gone, as my little corner of the web turns two, I want to focus on the future instead! Over my lifetime there have been many ideas floating around in my head relating to things that I've always wanted to do, have been threatening to finish for ages or generally want to achieve before, well, I croak.
My determination to finally start doing these things has increased tenfold this year and as we speed into May, I am becoming more and more aware of how quickly time is passing. Now I'm in a position where I can get the ball rolling financially, I want to get this show on the road as quickly as possible! This isn't a finite list, as I would like to continue adding other goals to replace those I've crossed off (especially as I've given myself almost three years to do these!), but feel this is a good place to start. The 25 things I want to do before I turn 25:
1) Take a trip in a hot air balloon.
2) Find the Spaced house.
3) Climb a mountain.
4) Watch fireworks from 'The Hill'.
5) Visit Barcelona.
7) Visit 10 cinemas (at least).
8) Finish Operation: Tidy Notes.
9) Take piano lessons.
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
A Film Club
up and running.
12) Make my own dress.
13) Visit a butterfly house.
14) Show anxiety who's boss.
15) Walk over the O2.
16) Plan and go on a road trip.
17) Learn how to Sign.
18) Have a major spring clean.
19) Go skiing.
20) Visit Chicago.
21) Buy and ride a cute bicycle.
22) Visit the Royal Observatory in Greenwich.
23) Complete a 5K run.
24) Save (a smart amount of) £££.
25) Take a creative class.
I plan to share all about these experiences so I can remember the details of them forever, but will check in every year my blog ages to formerly update on how I'm doing with my goals. I know it would be more coherent to create and share like this on/around my actual birthday as well as just for the year ahead, but... Where's the fun in that?
(I'm so sorry future me.)
