Let me re-introduce myself...
I've been blogging on this site for over two years now, and it recently occurred me that it has been a while since I took the time to say hello, so... Hello!
My name is Sian, I'm in my early twenties and am from the UK. I have auburn hair that looks like fire in sunlight, different coloured eyes thanks to a cataract, and I am a small bean in size - but for what I lack in height, I make up for in arse humour.
I work from home as the Head of Post Production for a small media company, which mostly consists of editing videos every day, and I run an online film club in my spare time. I played roller derby on and off for four years but, as my league recently folded, I am now focusing more of my energy on running and yoga.
Running outdoors, or just being outside in general, are two of my all-time favourite things. From visiting places across seas, to traipsing around in nearby forests, all I need is my camera and I'm in heaven. Oh, and if there is a high vantage point with a breathtaking view, or sunset taking place? I couldn't ask for more. Pure magic.
Over the last twelve months or so, I have become increasingly invested in minimalism and ethical living. I'm currently downsizing my possessions, buying less on the high street, and have been vegetarian for almost a year. I am always on the look out for ways to better myself - physically, mentally or otherwise - and that is where this space often comes into play.
I use Sian Blogs as a platform to share my thoughts and findings on navigating the turbulent world of mental health and illness. I also share creative work (by others, and myself) as well as photographs and musings from the adventures I go on in between. So whilst I usually put together content that falls under the creative, travel and wellbeing categories, this website is like my own personal scrapbook, that grows and changes with me.
It was lovely to (re)meet you.
