In June I made the trip to visit my cousin in Falmouth. I hadn't travelled that far before, and despite the five hour travel time and three train changes, I don't think I've ever had such a relaxing journey.
Watching the thick forests and seaside towns race past, and the water waving just outside the window was Disney-level magical.
When I arrived, we stopped off at Hang Ten. Nestled between a once Travel Agents and a Pasty Shop - when in Cornwall - the cafe and bar is a snug spot for drinks and a bite to eat. Its bright white walls, wooden furniture, and vibrant flowers gave the hideout a fresh yet cosy cottage feel; perfectly echoing the calmness of the sleepy harbour outside.
We munched on burgers, put the world to rights, and relished the absence of a ticking clock.
