PEACHTOBER 2022 - #27 Sea

Here it is! Part two of two!

For the LONGEST time I’ve wanted to incorporate some of my photography into Be Messy Be Magic pieces. I’ve often toyed with the idea of using black and white landscapes, but not been entirely sure how to tie everything together - but this felt like the perfect fit.

When looking at ‘Land’ and ‘Sea’, all I kept thinking about relationships. Particularly how land nor sea can truly separate us, when love - and the internet - is involved. Considering this binding, I pondered on a variety of words to use; from ‘Together’ and ‘Undivided’ to ‘One’ or ‘As One’… But everything felt a little too obvious, and too busy to fit in an A6 space. I wanted this duology to be bold!

Then I landed on ‘Sync’. I felt this had a lot of connections to the prompt and how I wanted to interpret it. Including how we can be in sync with each other, the planet around us, and how nature syncs with itself… And the pieces are also in sync with another - making sense as one… Even if they would be pretty cool to share like ‘Best Friend’ necklaces!
